The Redhawks A Team aim to be the competitive element of the Club; competing in the Southern Conference of BUIHA Division 2. This is their third season in the division (they dropped out of the 2006-07 season due to a lack of a rink for half of it), with the team coming in second place on both previous occasions.
The A Team also compete in the Celtic Cup Varsity; an exhibition game against Edinbugh University (the only other non-English team in the BUIHA). This year sees the A Team play host for the second time, with the hope of finally getting their name on the cup.
